This 350kW water cooled permanent magnet generator delivers high efficiency for medium scale hydro stations where compact dimensions are required. Water jacket cooling removes heat more effectively than air, allowing a smaller frame for the same rating and keeping winding temperature rise low even in tropical powerhouse environments.
